This gift box was crafted in partnership with Chaim Maslev from the DotsLolines.com studio, a renowned tattoo artist who lives and works between Miami and Berlin. His style is graphic and geometric, based on 3D effects, and he is well-known for specializing mandalas and dot work. This Héritage gift box with Chaim is part of the House desire to perpetuate heritage over time. Millésime 1988
Couleur doré profond à la délicate effervescence. Notes de fleurs séchées de tilleul, de verveine et de tabac blond. Deuxième nez surprenant de touches mentolées et d' eucalyptus. Vin équilibré et élégant.
Deep golden color with delicate effervescence. Notes of dried linden flowers, verbena, and blond tobacco. A surprising second nose with hints of menthol and eucalyptus. Balanced and elegant wine.
Millésime 1997
Robe jaune doré intense. Le nez révèlede surprenantes notes de fleurs blanches, puis d'abricots secs et de frangipane´chaude. L'attaque dynamique est intégrée dans un
corps de vin généreux et très serré.
Intense golden yellow. The nose reveals surprising notes of white flowers, then dried apricots and warm frangipane. The dynamic attack is integrated into a generous and very tight wine.

Couleur jaune dorée. Bulles fines à l'effervescence subtile. Des notes complexes de maturité : entre croûte de brioche et noisettes grillées, enrobées par du miel d'acacia. Dynamisme de l'attaque préparant à sa structure élégante et de tempérament.

Precis som i Bourgogne är detta en härligt generös årgång med en ljus framtid i sikte. Det är första gången som jag börjar känna mig en smula gammal i gamet. Jag har nämligen provat den årgången tidigare i mitt liv! Så slående lika är 2002 och 1982 att jag tycker mig kunna förutspå årgångens hela livskurva.
Jag tror på en väldigt linjär formkurva utan hack och bottnar. Vinet blir med tiden så sakteliga smörigare och fetare medan den relativt höga syran ligger och gör sitt jobb i det tysta. Vinerna kommer att nå topplatån någonstans vid trettio års ålder. Mest lovande hittills är en mängd odlare såsom Egly-Ouriet, Arnould, Pierre Gimonnet & Fils, Jacques Selosse och Diebolt-Vallois. Krug Clos du Mesnil är som vanligt vassast av allihop och Amour de Deutz, Piper Rare, Perrier-Jouët Belle Époque Blanc de Blancs, Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill och Louis Roederer Cristal är ren nektar, men mest intellektuellt utmanande är nog Jacquessons vingårds-viner Champ Caïn samt Vauzelle Terme.

Årgång 1997 i Champagne

Vinhistorien är fylld av bortglömda årgångar som kommit i skymundan för det föregående toppåret. Det blir således inte lätt för 1997:orna att komma direkt efter de läckra 1995:orna och de magiska 1996:orna.
Alla tekniska värden pekar på en ganska god årgång och de flesta hus har gjort årgångschampagne. Vinerna var väldigt charmiga som unga och borde konsumerats relativt unga då de flesta tröttnat betänkligt. Bollinger Vieilles Vignes Françaises spelar fortfarande i en egen liga.
